Job Description

As the Manager of Procurement (Commercial & Corporate Interior) at Basetube Spaces, you will be instrumental in the planning, procurement, and coordination of materials and services for our ongoing office interior and smart workplace projects. Your role will involve working closely with the design, project management, and vendor teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials that align with project goals and uphold Basetube Spaces" standard of excellence. You will lead the procurement and contract finalization for all interior fit-out packages across workplace and office design projects. Analyzing project drawings and Bill of Quantities (BOQs) to forecast accurate cost estimates, suggest alternatives, and maintain budget control will be crucial responsibilities. Additionally, you will coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services as per project schedules. Building, maintaining, and expanding a reliable network of vendors and service partners to stay updated with current market rates and trends will be essential. You will evaluate supplier proposals and conduct comparative analysis to support cost-effective and quality vendor selection. Recommending value engineering options to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and cost savings without compromising quality will also be part of your role. Staying abreast of industry trends, materials innovation, and new procurement technologies to drive project success is key. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) with 6+ years of experience in procurement for interior fit-outs or workplace projects. A proven track record in managing procurement for corporate office interiors, workplace transformation, or commercial fit-outs is required. You should possess in-depth knowledge of interior works packages such as modular furniture, lighting, acoustics, HVAC, flooring, etc., and have experience with subcontractor networks. Being technologically adept, with experience working with procurement software, ERP systems, and digital tracking tools, is necessary. Strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and under tight timelines are essential.
