Manager Procurement

Role Overview: As a Procurement Manager at Caterpillar Inc., you play a crucial role in managing strategic breakthrough categories to deliver year-over-year Quality Cost Logistics Development Management (QCLDM) performance improvement. You will be responsible for developing, communicating, and implementing a worldwide sourcing strategy for specific categories, identifying performance gaps within the supply base, and collaborating with the Supply Network on risk mitigation and predictive cost modeling. Key Responsibilities: - Accountable for developing, communicating, and implementing a worldwide sourcing strategy for a specific category. - Identifying performance gaps within the supply base and developing improvement plans. - Collaborating with the Supply Network on risk mitigation and using predictive cost modeling. - Identifying, developing, and managing a high-performing global supply network for one or more categories leveraging Procurement Classification Codes (PCC).
