Job Description

Role specific skills, knowledge and experience:

Essential:

Written and verbal proficiency in English, as the British Council systems and global processes operate in English.
A degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Policy, Compliance, or Operations, or relevant experience.
Proven experience in supporting policy or compliance functions, preferably within operations or service delivery environments.
Strong attention to detail, demonstrating effective document and version control practices.
Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and present it clearly.
Proficiency in managing structured documentation using platforms such as SharePoint, Confluence, or similar tools.
A collaborative and organized approach, with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
Experience in policy development and document governance.
Knowledge of operational control framework implementation.
Familiarity with change documentation and process mapping.
Experience in stakeholder coordination and engagement.

Desirable:

Professional qualification or certification in project or process governance.
