Manager- PR & Media Relations

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all public relations activities and interacting with stakeholders such as authors, wholesalers, and distributors. You will leverage existing media relationships while also developing new contacts within business and industry media. Managing media inquiries and interview requests will be part of your tasks, along with creating content for press releases, byline articles, and keynote presentations. Furthermore, you will evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising on an ongoing basis. Building relationships with thought leaders to increase industry awareness and developing a media relations strategy to secure high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media will also be key responsibilities. To succeed in this role, you must be a confident communicator and presenter, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrate strong organizational and planning abilities. Being proactive, reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented are essential qualities for this position. Additionally, you should have a knack for building relationships with industry media outlets, possess good writing and editing skills, and ideally have experience in event planning. While a BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline is a plus, it is not mandatory.
