Job Description

You will be joining the Portfolio Analytics team within Morgan Stanley Fund Services in Mumbai, where you will focus on analyzing, understanding, and reporting investment risk and performance for hedge fund portfolios. Your role will involve collaborating with teams across the globe, particularly in New York, Hong Kong, and London. **Key Responsibilities:** - Take responsibility for various day-to-day functions to ensure timely client deliverables. - Prepare custom client reports involving risk and performance calculations. - Assist in building automation solutions for clients using VBA coding or IT solutions. - Streamline existing processes by engaging with stakeholders to improve operational efficiency. - Actively participate in building new analytical tools. - Provide proper process training for new hires and establish backups for business continuity. **Desired Skillset/Qualifications:** - BE/BTech + MBA(Finance) with 6+ years of experience in financial services. CFA/FRM certification and hedge fund experience are advantageous. - Hands-on experience in coding languages like Excel-VBA or R. - Strong understanding of equities, fixed income, and derivatives products. - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Self-motivated with strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently. Please note that the role requires working in shifts from 12 pm - 9 pm or 1 pm - 10 pm according to the US Holiday calendar.
