Job Description

As a member of the Portfolio Analytics team at Morgan Stanley Fund Services in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in analyzing, understanding, and reporting investment risk and performance for the global hedge fund clientele. Your responsibilities will include preparing custom client reports, building automation solutions using VBA coding, streamlining processes, and actively contributing to the development of new analytical tools. You will collaborate with teams across the globe, particularly in New York, Hong Kong, and London, to ensure timely client deliverables and operational efficiency. This role requires a combination of business knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently to drive tasks to completion. To succeed in this role, you should possess a BE/BTech + MBA(Finance) with 6+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in hedge funds. A CFA/FRM certification would be an added advantage. Hands-on experience with coding languages like Excel-VBA or R is required, along with a strong understanding of equities, fixed income, and derivatives products. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as effective communication skills, are essential for this position. You will be expected to work in shifts from 12 pm - 9 pm or 1 pm - 10 pm, following the US holiday calendar.
