Manager - Planning

Role Overview: You should have experience working in a galvanized steel structural factory. Your responsibilities will include having knowledge of various steel standards such as IS, ASTM, BSEN, ISO, and ensuring compliance. Additionally, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting structural drawings, preparing BOM/BOQ as per project requirements and drawings, initiating the steel procurement process, and economizing steel. You will also coordinate with clients and raw material suppliers, distribute jobs and steel to vendors for fabrication, reconcile issued steel for fabrication, oversee galvanization of structures, prepare for finished goods inspection, and coordinate with the project team for the final delivery of structures. Key Responsibilities: - Have knowledge of various steel standards including IS, ASTM, BSEN, and ISO, and ensure compliance. - Read and interpret structural drawings accurately. - Prepare BOM/BOQ according to project requirements and drawings. - Initiate the steel procurement process and find ways to economize steel usage. - Coordinate client inspections at re-rollers premise and with raw material suppliers. - Distribute jobs and steel to vendors for the fabrication of structures. - Reconcile issued steel for fabrication purposes. - Ensure structures are galvanized as per client requirements. - Prepare for finished goods inspection and report data. - Coordinate with the project team for the final delivery of structures. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience working in a galvanized steel structural factory. - Knowledge of steel standards such as IS, ASTM, BSEN, and ISO. - Ability to read and interpret structural drawings accurately. - Strong organizational and coordination skills. - Experience in procurement processes and steel economizing. - Excellent communication skills for dealing with clients, suppliers, and project teams.,
