Description
The role you will be taking on involves providing decision support capabilities to the leadership group and Director of Performance Excellence, Reporting, and Projects in relation to costing, pricing, and performance analysis. This will require creating or modifying reports, dashboards, and scorecards to effectively present key metrics and data with qualitative analysis. Leveraging data, analytics, and technology, you will conduct cost analysis, cost center mapping, headcount reporting, and evaluation of key data to support commentaries and forecasting trends. Additionally, you will offer functional and technical support to end users, assisting in issue resolution and answering queries on report functionality. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining global costing and service pricing models for both offshore and onshore facilities and services. These models will be used to benchmark against captive, third party, and outsourcing arrangements, providing senior management with transparent and visible comparisons to aid in sourcing decisions. Key accountabilities of the role involve the development and measurement of consistent global reporting formats against agreed targets, industry best practices, and benchmarks. These reports will be utilized by senior management and process owners to provide unbiased performance knowledge, analysis, and metrics reporting for regional and global comparisons against key benchmarks and service level agreements. You will also be tasked with enhancing existing and developing new strategic financial and functional models to meet the business requirements of various products and services, including capacity planning and investment recommendations. You will play a role in project-related activities and documentation, as well as coach and develop team members, including hiring, firing, assessing, disciplining, documenting performance, and recommending salary and classification changes. Acting as an advisor to subordinate managers or staff will also be part of your responsibilities to help meet established schedules and resolve technical or operational problems. To be successful in this role, you should possess a major in Business, Accounting, or Finance, along with 6 years of progressive work-related experience in business, accounting, and finance. Demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/processes related to the position is essential, as well as experience in driving business performance and continuous improvement across processes and functions, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.
