Job summary

The Account Manager for Provider Data Management is the primary contact for healthcare provider clients, responsible for client satisfaction, retention, and account growth. This role requires expertise in provider data management and strong client relationship skills.

Key responsibilities

• Client relationship management:

  Serve as the main liaison between the company and assigned provider accounts. Cultivate strong client relationships, understand their needs, and act as a trusted advisor on provider data management processes.

• Account growth and performance:

  Identify opportunities for expanding business within existing accounts. Monitor account performance metrics, prepare reports, and conduct business reviews for clients and internal stakeholders.

• Issue resolution and internal coordination:

  Handle client inquiries promptly, especially those related to data quality or system performance. Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure solutions meet client objectives.

• Contract and market intelligence:

  Oversee customer account management, including contract negotiations. Stay informed about industry trends and regulations related to provider data management to better advise clients.

Preferred candidate profile

Required skills and qualifications

• Experience:

  15+ years in US healthcare industry (preferably Payer domain), including 10+ years in people management. Proven work as an Account Manager or similar client-facing role.

• Domain knowledge:

  Strong understanding of provider data management, credentialing, and healthcare regulatory requirements.

• Skills:

  Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.

• Attributes:

  Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
