Advance Excel, Excellent communication skills, OSHAS, EHS Industry Type: Manufacturing Job Description / Responsibilities (IN DETAIL) 1. Ensure plant rejection reduction rate targets are achieved. 2. Maintain quality management systems (QMS) and ensure compliance with relevant standards- ISO 9100, IATF 16949:2015. 3. Identify areas for improvement in production processes and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce rejection. 4. Design and execute quality control tests and inspections at various stages of the manufacturing process. 5. Collect, analyse, and interpret data related to quality to identify trends and inform decision-making. 6. Lead and manage a quality team, providing guidance, training, and support. 7. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including management, other departments, and customers. 8. Ensure all products and processes comply with legal, regulatory, and safety standards. 9. Lead initiatives in continuous improvement, such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. 10. Conduct internal and external audits to evaluate the effectiveness of quality systems. 11. Work with suppliers to ensure raw materials and components meet quality standards. 12. Identify and resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence. 13. Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation. 14. Prepare and present quality reports to management and other stakeholders. Desired profile of the candidate (IN DETAIL) Should have worked for min 10 years with automotive company having IATF 16949:2015 certification as MR. Record of leading teams and achievement within realms of Quality Engineering. Familiar with range of measuring and inspection equipment and able to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Excellent computer skills (including but not limited to Windows, Office, MS Access/SQL).
