Manager MEP - Electrical Design Engineer

You will be responsible for managing the design of Electrical & ELV (FA, PA, CCTV, Voice, Data) services by reviewing DBR, calculations, and drawings from consultants. Your role will involve providing valuable inputs to ensure no gaps or omissions in services and optimizing them for job execution. Additionally, you will support the Contracts team in preparing cost estimates and budgets, ensuring accuracy and providing expertise on services and their efficiency. Your duties will include preparing the budget, finalizing technical details, drawings, and BOQ for tenders, conducting vendor meetings, and preparing techno-commercial comparisons. You will also be involved in issuing LOI/WO/PO as needed, coordinating with contractors for approvals of shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements, and working closely with MEP/Services consultants and Project Architect. In terms of skills, you should be able to review architectural detailed drawings, analyze feasibility from Electrical & ELV services perspective, and resolve issues with the Architectural & Planning team. You will need to provide value engineering guidance, benchmark services, and ensure adherence to project budgets. Conducting kick-off meetings with MEP/Services contractors and possessing proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD are essential. Knowledge of Revit will be an added advantage. The ideal candidate for this role should hold a BE degree in Electrical engineering with 10-12 years of experience in designing Electrical & ELV services for commercial/hotel/mall/retail projects.
