Manager - Media Relations

Key Responsibilities: - Manage client expectations by maximizing Media Pulling and Media Coverage for the client - Ensure responsible management of events by coordinating with the media and ensuring the required number of media attendance - Follow up on media coverage regularly and share updates with the team in a timely manner - Handle crisis management and pitch stories as needed - Contribute to overall media outcomes for large clients - Proactively engage with teams and team heads to develop impactful stories such as cover stories, large format interviews, and op-eds - Maintain and update the media database regularly - Provide counsel to practice teams on media trends and happenings Qualifications Required: - Strong expertise and knowledge of the industry, including depth and breadth of Media Experience - Knowledge of the changing media landscape, strong relationships with key media houses, and the ability to access the right media for the desired outcomes - Strong relationships with media and a deep understanding of media platforms and emerging trends - Depth and breadth of Consulting Experience - Understanding of clients and the ability to pitch stories Behavioral Skills: - Clear, articulate, and passionate communicator - Ability to empower, delegate, and drive change - Identify and develop senior talent within the organization - Strong collaboration skills - Decisive, confident, and tough-minded after consulting and engaging with stakeholders - Inspirational and positive leadership style - Nurturing, approachable, and open demeanor Experience: - Candidates with 5-8 years of experience in Media Relations, preferably from an agency background, are encouraged to apply.,
