Manager, Mechanical Maintenance

As a Maintenance Engineer at Goodyear in Aurangabad, your role involves reporting to the Maintenance Manager and ensuring the execution of safety-related actions and projects, the reliability of equipment, meeting energy and cost goals, and maintaining breakdowns within or better than the AOP. You will also be responsible for developing talent through mentoring and coaching in alignment with the common goals applicable to plant overall performance. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for the reliability of BC Mechanical equipment - Ensuring compliance with all safety standards as per GY requirements - Overseeing statutory compliances falling within the business center's preview - Upkeeping machines to minimize breakdowns and ensure process conformity - Managing capex related to sustenance - Driving Plant Optimization- Reliability pillar as per guidelines - Coordinating with other departments like Production, Quality, and Safety to drive the Plant's KPIs - Managing maintenance costs within the planned budget - Spare parts management and ensuring inventory meets requirements - Establishing a bench of Indigenous suppliers to reduce Import content and enhance local knowledge - Driving safety aspects related to the WULO Project - Implementing skill enhancement programs for hourly and contractual associates In terms of reliability, you will be responsible for maintaining machines (Mixing, Hot prep) within AOP, leading Plant optimization RE pillar, carrying out planned and predictive maintenance, and improving the Workshop to enhance in-house capability. Regarding cost management, you will need to meet AOP's cost, comply with cost-saving projects, manage spare parts inventory, ensure machine uptime to avoid production losses, and implement expansion/improvement projects within budgeted costs and timelines. Compliance is also a significant aspect of your role, ensuring that the compliance scope of Engineering is met within the required time frame and adhering to FM global compliance.
