As a Field Service Engineer or Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing technical support and site visit services to clients with STP/ETP/UF/RO/ZLD systems. Your key duties will include troubleshooting operational issues, supporting system start-up and commissioning, and optimizing plant performance parameters such as flow, BOD, COD, pH, and TDS. You will be expected to conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment, identify faulty components, and coordinate replacements with clients. Additionally, training operators on SOPs, safety practices, and troubleshooting will be part of your role, along with developing and delivering site-specific training modules as needed. Documentation and reporting are crucial aspects of this position, requiring you to prepare detailed service reports for each site visit, maintain service records and log sheets, and ensure timely submission of reports to both internal teams and clients. Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring regulatory and safety compliance at client sites, particularly related to wastewater discharge norms. In terms of consumable management, you will advise clients on chemical selection and dosing schedules, monitor inventory and consumption patterns for key consumables, and maintain service tools and spares inventory for site interventions. This is a full-time position that may require day shift, rotational shift, and weekend availability based on client needs. As a qualified candidate for this role, you must hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Production & Manufacturing Engineering with an excellent academic record. Additionally, a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry is required. Your skills should include proficiency with Simulation Software such as Anylogic or Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation, with a minimum of 2+ years of direct modeling experience. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is also essential for this role. In terms of technical background, you must have direct experience in building and analyzing DES Models using Tecnomatix or Anylogic. Experience in value stream analysis, facilities layout, production system design, manufacturing process design, and systems design thinking is crucial. You should be comfortable building models, writing scripts to run special logic, and translating process logic into simulation models. Analytical skills are key for this role, as you will be required to evaluate data output from simulation models and provide recommendations for clients. Applying mathematical operations to theoretical and practical manufacturing and industrial situations is part of the job scope. Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary for collaborating with client team members, understanding modeling requirements, and conveying recommendations based on the problem statement. Knowledge of Layout Analysis, Operations research, Plant optimization, Discrete Event simulation, and Methods Engineering is advantageous. Experience with Monte Carlo analysis and other parametric experiments to evaluate system changes is desired. Strong analytical skills are essential for translating findings and recommendations into impactful presentations for various stakeholders.,
