KRA - 1. Technical Leadership

• Lead and review advanced simulations:

  FEA/structural (stress, fatigue, vibration), CFD (fluid, thermal, aerodynamics), thermal management, NVH, multi-physics, and transient analysis

  .
• Guide teams on

  propeller/turbine optimization

  , aerodynamic modelling, and mechanical design enhancements.
• Support design teams on

  CAD/CAM modelling using SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo

  .
• Provide simulation support for

  manufacturing processes

  including injection molding, casting, forging, and additive manufacturing.
• Ensure accurate material modelling, including

  composites, metals, polymers

  .
• Develop simulation methodologies aligned with

  ASME / ISO / industry standards

  .
• Validate digital models with

  lab tests and field data

  for correlation and improvement.
• Contribute to R&D initiatives in

  drone propulsion (air & water), renewable energy systems (wind & hydro), and cross-domain engineering projects

  .

2. Project Management

• Lead cross-functional R&D project teams including design, manufacturing, testing, and suppliers.
• Plan and allocate CAE deliverables across multiple product lines.
• Ensure timely completion of simulation tasks supporting

  DFM/DFA and manufacturing planning

  .
• Drive reliability engineering through

  FMEA, root cause analysis, and risk mitigation

  .

3. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Build competency in emerging technologies such as digital twins, AI/ML-driven simulation, optimization algorithms, and automated workflows.
• Promote cost reduction and design improvements based on simulation-driven insights.
• Standardize modeling practices, templates, material libraries, and simulation protocols.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work with product design teams during concept and detailed design phases.
• Collaborate with testing teams for validation and improvement of simulation models.
• Present complex multi-physics simulation results clearly to engineering and leadership teams.

5. Team Development

• Mentor a team of CAE/CFD/NVH engineers.
• Build cross-domain engineering knowledge and system thinking capability in the team.
• Conduct internal trainings for software and engineering best practices.
