Manager- IT Infrastructure

Role Overview: As an Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure systems to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability. You will lead a team of IT professionals, collaborate with other departments, and manage security measures to protect systems and data against cyber threats. Your role will also involve project management, strategic planning, operational support, and adherence to compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure systems including servers, storage, networks, and cloud services. - Monitor system performance, address potential issues proactively, and minimize downtime. - Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, foster collaboration with other departments, and manage relationships with third-party vendors. - Implement and manage security measures, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and conduct regular security audits and risk assessments. - Plan and execute IT infrastructure projects, manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation, and prepare detailed project documentation and reports. - Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for IT infrastructure, assess emerging technologies, and evaluate vendor contracts for hardware, software, and cloud services. - Oversee help desk operations, manage disaster recovery plans and backup strategies, and establish standard operating procedures for infrastructure management. Qualification Required: - Minimum 7 years of experience in IT Infrastructure role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position. - Deep knowledge of technologies such as virtualization, open-source technologies, Microsoft operating systems, Active Directory, Azure, AWS, DNS, DHCP, and ITIL principles. - Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and disaster recovery planning experience. Additional Details: The company prefers candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CCNP, AWS/Azure certifications, or CISSP are desired. Experience managing hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud) is also a plus.,
