Roles & Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Architecture:

  Design, build, and maintain integrations between

  Veeva Vault - Clinical Operations

  , Study Training, and other applications in the Clinical Operations ecosystem. You will translate functional and technical requirements into software architecture and design specifications.

• Agile Management:

  Oversee the software development lifecycle using the

  Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

  . You will work with Product Owners and delivery teams, acting as an escalation point to ensure commitments are met.

• Team & Talent Development:

  Develop and motivate your team, delegating effectively and championing diversity. You will act as a role model of servant leadership, fostering a culture of mentorship and talent development.

• Collaboration & Strategy:

  Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams and participate in leadership meetings to ensure successful delivery. You will define business requirements and technology solutions, ensuring ongoing alignment with strategy, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

• Quality & Performance:

  Develop and implement testing strategies, including unit and integration tests, to ensure software quality. You will also automate operations, monitor system health, and respond to incidents to minimize downtime.

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in implementing and managing application integrations using technologies such as

  MuleSoft

  .
• Experience with

  Veeva Vault - Clinical Operations

  applications, with experience on

  Veeva Vault - Site Connect & Study Training

  as a plus.
• Experience with version control systems like

  Git

  and

  DevOps CI/CD

  tools such as

  Jenkins, Linux

  , and

  Shell Script

  .
• A strong understanding of

  cloud platforms

  (

  AWS, GCP, Azure

  ) and containerization technologies (

  Docker, Kubernetes

  ).
• Experience using and adopting the

  Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

  .

• ITIL

  and

  Veeva Vault platform

  certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree; or a Master's degree with experience; or a Bachelor's degree with extensive experience; or a Diploma with a substantial background in Business, Engineering,

  IT

  , or a related field.
• Experience in people management and leading matrixed teams.
• A strong background in the end-to-end software development lifecycle.
