Key responsibilities

Strategic Planning and actions to Ensure Safe Work Environment in line with Global HSE practices.

Define Systems and Procedures to Ensure Involvement of all stake holders to achieve Injury free operations via positive motivational initiatives

Provide Guidance and Support to operational team members for Ensuring day to day activity done in safe manner

Coordination with respective section Managers/Supervisors for identifying Gaps related to HSE and sustainability related actions for effective and timely closure to ensure non repetition.

Define adequate procedure for safe handling, storage & disposal of hazardous materials and ensure adherence with effective supervision.

Supervise the operation of any potential hazards in the workplace thru effective implementation of FLRA, PTW practices.

Ensure adherence to regulatory compliances related to HSE function

Coordination with Global / Local Safety Managers for Benchmarking good practices and horizontal deployment

Develop necessary Training modules for HSE function and impart awareness and training to Employees effectively.

Provide safety induction to vendor /supplier who are going to perform job

Define necessary procedure for Site preparedness during Emergency and Crisis Situation and impart regular trainings to all stake holders.

Improve workplace safety through regular employee participation activities like Safety Circles / Employee positive motivation events ( Safety Clock )

Leading Sustainability initiatives for CoE India and provide Support and guidance to team members

Leading IMS Coordination for CoE India and MR function

Maintain HSE related documents for operations

Ensure that health, safety, and environmental policies are followed.

Ensure reporting of accidents/incidents/hazards, illnesses and investigate to discover root causes and recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures to avoid the reoccurrence

Prepare and Release Weekly / Monthly reports with analysis and improvement action plans.

Monthly / periodic HSE reporting on awareness, issues, statistics, and reports to relevant authorities
Experience - 12-15 years
Education Qualification: - B. Tech / diploma/ graduation + Diploma in HSE / Diploma in fire safety / certified lead auditor for IMS
