As an Experienced Associate at our Bengaluru or Kolkata office location, you will be responsible for developing a comprehensive understanding of the Grant Thornton audit approach, methodology, and tools. Your role will involve demonstrating a strong working knowledge of auditing practices and showcasing aptitude for technical accounting. Under our remote service delivery model, you will efficiently execute various components of audits while gaining insight into client operations, processes, and business objectives. Your ability to leverage this knowledge during engagements will be crucial. Flexibility and agility in client service are key aspects of this role, along with following instructions from seniors and providing guidance to Analysts. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to assist with the on-the-job training and coaching of Analysts and new Associates. Anticipating project issues, resolving them effectively, and engaging with the US team via Skype calls to foster good relationships will be part of your routine. Regular participation in professional development and training sessions is expected, along with adapting to the Grant Thornton corporate culture and engaging in the buddy program. Key Skills for this role include basic analytical, technical, and accounting skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, strong interpersonal skills, project management abilities to handle multiple tasks, basic people management skills, and problem-solving skills to address Analyst queries.
