Manager, Governance, Risk, Compliance

You will be joining Avient Corporation as the Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC) and Programs Manager. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to lead a global team in monitoring cyber regulations and ensuring compliance. You will need to establish and implement a comprehensive risk management program aligned with regulations and industry best practices. Additionally, you will be required to author policies and standards defining the requirements for procedures that meet cyber and business needs. Your role will involve driving and demonstrating cyber maturity as measured by the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to address cybersecurity risk management needs and expectations will also be a key part of your responsibilities. You will assess and recommend solutions to third party and supply chain risks, lead the cyber resilience program, and oversee the security awareness and training program. Your duties will also include providing program oversight to manage risks across the cyber transformation portfolio. Key Responsibilities: - Establish, implement, and lead a comprehensive risk management program aligned with regulations and industry best practices - Author policies and standards defining requirements for procedures meeting cyber and business needs - Drive and demonstrate cyber maturity as per the NIST Cybersecurity Framework - Engage with internal and external stakeholders to address cybersecurity risk management needs and expectations - Assess and recommend solutions to third party and supply chain risks - Lead the cyber resilience program - Oversee the security awareness and training program - Provide program oversight to ensure risks are managed across the cyber transformation portfolio - Other leadership duties as assigned Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field or equivalent experience - Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in compliance and technology leadership roles - Substantial experience in leading large, complex projects - Additional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, GRC, and Project Management are preferred - Experience in Manufacturing and Operational Technology (OT) will be beneficial You will be part of a diverse team of professionals at Avient Corporation, where innovation and sustainable solutions are at the core of our purpose.
