Manager, Governance and Framework

As a Manager of Governance & Framework at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in the production of Market Intelligence (MI) reporting globally for Market Security Services (MSS). Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate and efficient data sourcing, analyzing large data sets, and presenting the information in a professional and timely manner to support effective risk governance. In this role, you will be responsible for visualizing MSS Non Financial Risk (NFR) data for senior management review, identifying trends in the data, and providing accurate executive summaries of large data sets. Continuous improvement in data sourcing and output will be key, as well as addressing queries from stakeholders in a complete and timely fashion. To excel in this position, you must hold a minimum Bachelor's degree in a related field such as business or finance. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential, along with previous experience in Audit, Business Management, or Risk/Control roles within a Markets business. Proficiency in Advanced Excel, VBA, MS Access Database skills, and other MS Office tools is required. Your ability to work with multiple stakeholders, manage their expectations, and interact professionally at all levels within the organization will be crucial. An understanding of Risk and Control frameworks, as well as Investment Banking products and functions, is necessary to succeed in this role.
