Manager Formulation & Innovation

Role Overview: You will be responsible for conducting primary research and literature review on skincare, haircare, or cosmetic ingredients and technologies. Developing and testing prototypes, optimizing formulations, and conducting stability and compatibility testing will be key aspects of your role. Collaboration with cross-functional teams from ideation to launch, preparing product briefs and regulatory documentation, and analyzing consumer trends and competitor benchmarks will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct primary research and literature review on skincare, haircare, or cosmetic ingredients and technologies. - Develop and test prototypes in-house or with third-party labs/manufacturers. - Optimize formulations for efficacy, safety, stability, sensory experience, and cost. - Conduct stability and compatibility testing, maintain formulation, consumes and clinical records. - Evaluate supplier raw materials and new active ingredients with efficacy data. - Work with cross-functional teams (design, marketing, procurement) from ideation to launch. - Prepare product briefs, PIFs, and regulatory documentation. - Track timelines, milestones, and assist in scale-up or pilot batch planning. - Collaborate with vendors/CMOs on tech transfer and production readiness. - Analyze consumer trends, social buzz, ingredient innovations, and competitor benchmarks. - Pitch new product ideas with clear USPs and commercial logic. - Support concept development and brand positioning for new launches. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetology, or related field. - Proven experience in formulation development within the skincare, haircare, or cosmetics industry. - Strong knowledge of ingredient functionalities, formulation techniques, and regulatory requirements. - Excellent project management, communication, and teamwork skills. - Ability to analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor strategies effectively.,
