ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dynamic professional with corporate IT experience and a strong background in corporate L&D or soft skills training to lead our EDGE Employability Skills initiative – preparing students for high-impact careers in CS/IT.
IDEAL PROFILE
- Experience:
• 6+ years in CS/IT/Consulting industry
• 2–3 years in soft skills training or corporate L&D (preferred)
TRAINING, DELIVERY & ASSESSMENT
- Deliver sessions on communication, professionalism, aptitude, GD & PI
- Facilitate resume reviews, mock interviews, and group discussions
INDIVIDUAL MENTORING
- 1:1 coaching on interview prep, personal goals, and mindset building
- Maintain individual Employability Development Plans (IEDPs)
INDUSTRY ENGAGEMENT
- Coordinate guest lectures, industry mentorships, and mock HR panels
- Promote hackathons, open-source contributions, and certification pathways
PLACEMENT SUPPORT & BEYOND
- Prepare students for recruiter-specific interviews
- Engage with alumni and support early career transitions
