Manager Electrical (Utility)

Role Overview: As a Manager/Sr. Manager at Sun Pharma Laboratories Ltd in Guwahati, you will have the primary responsibility of overseeing the entire OSD & NOSD functions of the plant. Your role will involve coordinating with production & project personnel, contractors, and machine manufacturers to resolve machine-related issues and implement modifications for smooth process operations. Additionally, you will be responsible for sourcing materials, facilitating safety in the working environment, preparing maintenance reports, and executing cost and energy-saving techniques. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the OSD & NOSD functions of the plant - Coordinate with production, project personnel, contractors, and machine manufacturers - Track and maintain critical spares for maintenance - Implement EHS policies for a safe working environment - Source machine, tooling, consumable parts, and related services - Prepare maintenance reports and technical data for resource planning - Execute cost and energy-saving techniques - Ensure validation and qualification of electrical systems - Coordinate with vendors for supplies and inventory management - Procurement, inspection, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of plant machineries - Provide training to the engineering team for job efficiency improvement - Implement GEP in daily work culture for enhanced performance - Ensure uninterrupted utility supply for production - Plan maintenance schedules to improve equipment reliability - Approve GRN - Support profitability by managing resources efficiently - Provide a safe working environment with zero accidents - Ensure utility operations are safe, efficient, and economical - Perform any other assigned tasks by HOD Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E. or B.Tech) - 12 to 15 years of experience in the relevant field in the Pharmaceutical Industry Additional Details: At Sun Pharma, your success and well-being are the top priorities.
