B.E - Electrical / Electrical & Electronics WTP, Lift Irrigation, HDPE/MDPE Pipeline Projects Electrical Design & Engineering Responsibilities : Led the preparation, verification, and modification of electrical drawings and interfaced with multidisciplinary teams across design, construction, commissioning, and approvals. Reviewed and developed SLDs, layouts, load distribution, cable schedules, and control schematics for HT/LT networks, MCC, and process control systems, including emergency shutdown systems. Interpreted EPC project specifications, BOQs, and contracts to deliver complete electrical design and engineering solutions, both in-house and via vendor coordination. Designed and selected electrical components including motors, transformers, VFDs, MCCBs, DBs, UPS, AVR, ASR, and DCS panels, ensuring alignment with project requirements and safety standards. Executed detailed engineering for earthing systems, lighting design, bus-bar and cable sizing, panel protection systems, SCADA, and instrumentation interfaces (PT, TG, LG, CV, etc.). Managed preparation and submission of BOQs, method statements, QAPs, ITPs, FQPs, job procedures, and technical write-ups for client/consultant approvals. Oversaw vendor coordination, including reviewing submissions, resolving technical queries, and conducting quality checks at manufacturing stages to ensure compliance with project specs. Electrical Execution & Site Management Responsibilities: Assisted in allocation, budgeting, resource planning, and scheduling for EPC project execution. Oversaw installation, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and troubleshooting of HV/LV electrical systems including control panels, MCCs, switchgear (ACB/VCB), VFDs, UPS, AVR, synchronizing panels, and DCS marshalling panels. Executed earthing systems (GI/Copper) and cable management, including layout, termination, and grid formation for electrical panels, motors, transformers, and instruments. Managed shutdown and commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with project scope, safety, and quality standards. Directed subcontractors and coordinated for estimation, pricing, scoping strategies, and material sourcing to align with budget and timelines. Led construction planning, ensuring compliance with ISO, HSE, and statutory requirements, while streamlining field execution. Provided technical leadership and team supervision, ensuring accurate schedule estimation, issue resolution, and on-time deliverables.
