Job Description

As a Manager, Data Scientist at the company, you will be a key member of the Product Data & Analytics team, focusing on building internal analytic partnerships to optimize business health, portfolio, revenue opportunities, initiative tracking, new product development, and Go-To Market strategies. You will play a crucial role in developing large-scale Analytical Capabilities to support end users across 6 continents. Your responsibilities will include: - Working closely with the global enterprise gateway team to develop analytic solutions using complex statistical and data science techniques - Leading cross-functional projects to discover insights guiding strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities - Translating business requirements into technical solution specifications and delivering high-quality results on time - Supporting the development of modeling and reporting through the application of 80/20 principles - Manipulating large-scale databases and synthesizing data insights using tools - Providing insights and conclusions through Tableau/PowerBI dashboards, Excel, and PowerPoint presentations - Ensuring quality control, data validation, and cleansing processes for new and existing data sources - Recruiting, training, developing, and supervising analyst-level employees - Communicating results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders across various teams To excel in this role, you should have: - A superior academic record in Computer Science, Data Science, Technology, mathematics, statistics, or equivalent work experience - Proficiency in Alteryx, Python/Spark, Hadoop platforms & tools (Hive, Impala, Airflow), and advanced SQL for building Big Data products & platforms - Experience in interacting with stakeholders to understand technical needs and delivering effective analyses and solutions - The ability to build a strong narrative on the business value of products and actively participate in product optimization efforts - Skills to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment both as part of a team and as an individual contributor - Experience with Enterprise Business Intelligence Platform/Data platform such as Tableau, PowerBI, with certification as a plus - Technical knowledge, drive, and ability to learn new technologies, including ML frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture - Excellent English, quantitative, technical, and communication skills, along with strong attention to detail and quality - Self-motivation, sense of urgency, project management, risk mitigation, and multitasking abilities Your educational background should ideally include a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, with an M.S./M.B.A. preferred.,
