About the Role:
- Lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives: This is core to driving the firms strategic agenda and ensuring that initiatives are aligned with overall goals and objectives, indicating a leadership role in strategic planning and execution.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders: Essential for ensuring that the strategic initiatives have buy-in from key figures within the organization and that theres alignment between the initiatives and the firms strategic priorities.
- Facilitate cross-functional teams: Important for leveraging diverse skills and perspectives, fostering innovation, and ensuring that different parts of the organization are working together efficiently towards common goals.
- Create a governance model: Establishing a governance model is crucial for defining the roles, responsibilities, and processes that will guide the strategic initiatives, ensuring accountability and structured decision-making.
- Monitor and report on the progress of strategic initiatives: This responsibility ensures transparency and allows for the continuous evaluation of the initiatives effectiveness, facilitating informed decision-making and adjustments as necessary.
- Understand the relevance of emerging technologies and capabilities: In todays rapidly changing business environment, staying informed about technological advancements and their implications for the firms strategy is crucial for maintaining competitive advantage.
- Conduct thorough market analysis, competitive research, and financial modeling: These activities are foundational for making informed strategic decisions, understanding the market landscape, and assessing the financial viability of strategic initiatives.
- Create and shape a cohesive narrative: Effective communication and the ability to articulate a unifying vision are key for gaining support and ensuring alignment among various stakeholders within the organization.
Required skills:
- Ability to deal with ambiguity - effectively cope with change, shift gears comfortably, decide and act without having the total picture, and handle risk and uncertainty.
- Should be a self-starter and problem solver, able to work independently without direct supervision.
- Should be comfortable in working on a Sphere of influence mode bringing together leaders at various levels towards a common purpose
- Ability to connect the dots across various initiatives to understand dependencies and bring together the required stakeholders and reduce duplication
- Strong articulation and communication skills to lead and drive strategic initiatives within the Organization. - Good at articulating and conveying the same through effective presentations
- Proven consulting experience delivering business outcomes is a MUST HAVE
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related technical field, MBA from tier 1,2 colleges
3-8 years of professional experience in consulting, strategy, product teams
Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
