Job Description

As Manager - Contracts Service Centre at CommBank, you will be a key member of the Group Procurement Team responsible for managing the execution of contracts and ensuring accurate recording of contract information in our systems. Your role will involve supporting category teams in executing contracts and maintaining accurate records of high-risk contracts. Additionally, you will oversee the end-to-end contract signing process, manage contract workspaces, demonstrate a strong understanding of risk management processes, and lead a team of up to 4 individuals in handling various activities across sourcing and contract hub. **Key Responsibilities:** - Support category teams in executing contracts and maintaining accurate records of high-risk contracts - Manage the end-to-end contract signing process, including CIO signing, Procurement sign-offs, and e-signing of contracts in collaboration with category teams and key stakeholders - Set up contract workspaces for new contracts with the right hierarchy and stakeholder details - Manage existing contract workspaces to ensure they are updated with the latest copy of the contract, current stakeholders, contract manager, etc. - Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of risk and risk processes applicable to your role - Provide appropriate process and governance to address all aspects of risk in your day-to-day work - Ensure compliance with Group policies, procedures, and relevant external legislative requirements - Manage effective distribution of workload in the team, provide oversight and guidance to team members, and promote compliance to Bank-wide and Procurement processes and technology **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree/Masters degree in Arts, Business Management, Computer Applications, Business Administration, or Commerce - 8 to 12 years of strong contract execution and contract management experience, with at least 3-5 years of experience in managing and leading a team - In-depth understanding of contract structures and hierarchies - Strong understanding of ARIBA contract management module and contract workspaces - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively - Ability to manage and influence stakeholders, customers, and suppliers - Preferable experience in supplier negotiation and contract drafting If you're already part of the Commonwealth Bank Group, you'll need to apply through Sidekick for a valid application.
