Manager - Content Strategy Events

As a Content Manager at GLG, you will play a key role in shaping and executing high-impact live and virtual meetings connecting top global experts with business and investment leaders, with a specific focus on clients in the Asia-Pacific region, particularly Australia. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop compelling event topics and discussion points in collaboration with client-facing teams. - Draft event-related content such as agendas and speaker briefs. - Identify, source, and coordinate with expert speakers from GLG's global network. - Host and moderate small-group sessions and expert panels. **Project & Operational Management:** - Plan and execute events from ideation to delivery. - Support marketing and promotional efforts for events. - Coordinate logistics and provide administrative support as required. **Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration:** - Ensure adherence to internal processes and timelines. - Manage speaker and client communication in coordination with internal stakeholders. - Deliver excellent customer service through clear and professional communication. **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of experience in Content strategy from journalism or an editorial background. - Familiarity with the PE/finance industry, with prior experience in managing financial conferences being a plus. - Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. - Ability to work independently and proactively with internal stakeholders. - A passion for curating engaging, high-quality content.
