Job Description

As a Manager - Compensation Services at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in the People Business by contributing to the delivery of country/region-specific activities and projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Contributing to the delivery of country/region-specific BAU activities such as reporting, Service Management deck preparation, attending local reviews, newsletters, market data analysis, baseline checks, and benchmarking submissions. - Supporting the implementation of standard and ad-hoc P&R projects. - Collaborating with country Reward Leads/Consultants to identify opportunities for simplification and standardization. - Working with key stakeholders to prepare, analyze, and present meaningful reporting that drives effective business insights. - Maintaining high data integrity to support informed business decisions. - Exhibiting ownership of your work and the ability to work independently with minimal guidance. - Building professional relationships with colleagues in the Performance & Reward function, HRBPs, and business areas across countries, regions, and global teams. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor or master's degree in HR, economics, mathematics, or engineering disciplines. - Experience working in the HR function with an understanding of Reward/Compensation processes. - Very high proficiency in MS Excel. - Experience in data analysis and working with analytical tools. - Ability to understand business needs and objectives. - Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a consultative approach. - Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure and flexible work environment. Additional skills that would be beneficial for this role: - Exposure to working with multi-country teams. - Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment. - Strong relationship management skills to navigate complex, matrix organizations. - Excellent consulting, research, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
