Manager, Cash Operations

As a Manager within the Cash Operations team at Oaktree, your role will involve forecasting cash balances, managing cash movements for funding needs, staging FX trades, and driving daily cash management decisions. You will work closely with various teams to ensure timely and accurate cash movements, participate in initiatives to improve processes, and assist in developing both short-term tactical and long-term strategic solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Forecasting available cash balances - Monitoring and preventing account overdrafts - Working with investment teams to ensure cash availability for transactions - Staging FX orders for cash raising and hedging currency risk - Identifying and implementing VBA/SQL-based tactical solutions - Establishing SLAs and KPIs for process improvement - Identifying, measuring, and mitigating process risk - Building effective relationships with internal stakeholders - Participating in initiatives for automation and efficiency - Writing specifications for technology enhancements - Training others and performing necessary tasks/projects - Processing cash movements through complex legal entity structures Qualifications: - 8+ years of relevant operations experience in Asset Management, Investment Banking, or related financial services - Experience in leading technology implementation/projects - Knowledge of Jira is a plus - Strong analytical and quantitative skills - Expertise in Excel, SQL, and VBA - Understanding of complex fund and deal structures - Knowledge of SharePoint, PowerBI, Advent Geneva, Global World Investor, Allvue Everest, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Custodian Banks - Strong attention to detail Personal Attributes: - Collaborative, team-oriented with integrity and professionalism - Initiative-driven self-starter - Strong communication skills - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively Oaktree is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and considers qualified applicants with criminal history for positions based in Los Angeles in accordance with applicable laws.,
