Qualification:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech).

Experience:

10–15 years of relevant experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
Proven experience in maintenance management, project execution, and utilities management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the engineering team responsible for plant maintenance, utilities, and project execution.
Plan, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime.
Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, as well as statutory and regulatory audits.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support production and operational efficiency.
Develop and manage budgets for maintenance, utilities, and engineering projects.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability and operational excellence.
Mentor, coach, and develop engineering staff to build a high-performing team.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong leadership and team management skills.
In-depth knowledge of maintenance practices, utilities, and engineering systems.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Sound understanding of regulatory compliance in the pharmaceutical sector.
Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
