Manager - Business Consulting

As a Manager - Business Consulting at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in assessing operational risks, providing analytical support to global/regional businesses, and delivering end-to-end projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Continually reassessing operational risks associated with the role and business, considering various factors such as economic conditions, legal requirements, and technological impacts. - Providing analytical support for customer analytics, product analytics, and portfolio analytics in projects using various analytic techniques. - Delivering projects independently and assisting in more complex analyses under the supervision of the team lead. - Producing high-quality data and reports to support process improvements and decision-making within the respective Business Areas. - Developing and executing business intelligence and analytical initiatives aligned with business objectives using structured and unstructured data sources. - Resolving queries and issues associated with projects, ensuring timely delivery with accuracy and quality. - Ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and business standards, including data security, operational risk, and regulatory guidelines. Qualifications required for this role include: - Basic data & analytics experience with knowledge of financial services preferred. - A Bachelors or Masters degree in Maths, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline. - Strong experience with analytic systems like SQL, Python, and Alteryx, along with proficiency in Microsoft suite skills. - Strong visualization skills, particularly with Qliksense, and familiarity with Big Query, Hadoop, and GCP. - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and understanding of data quality management principles. - Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively. - Ability to work in cross-functional teams, strong interpersonal skills, and a drive for success. - Independent worker with a high drive and the ability to support Global teams with demanding work hours. - Analytical thought process and problem-solving aptitude.
