Job Description

You will play a crucial role in developing an appropriate IT strategy to enhance Finance business processes. As the primary contact point for Finance process discussions, you will lead the design and implementation of best practices, aiming to drive measurable business improvements. Your responsibilities include architecting IT applications to support these processes, identifying initiatives for continuous enhancement, and overseeing the prioritization and delivery of IT work requests. You will act as an internal consultant, focusing on continuous business process improvement and maximizing IT investments, particularly in SAP and other applications. Collaborating with business stakeholders, you will contribute to formulating business process strategies, staying updated on changes that may impact system designs. Your goal is to enhance margins and return on capital employed (ROCE) through ongoing process enhancements and to serve as the liaison between IT and the business in your designated process area. Your role involves identifying opportunities for technological and strategic advancements to enhance business performance and maintain a competitive edge. You will be responsible for designing and improving business processes, ensuring alignment with the global IS strategy. Additionally, you will lead the development of business cases, guide project progression, and oversee the realization of benefits from SAP implementations. As a team leader, you will manage a group of Business Process Specialists, fostering a culture of consultation and collaboration within the team. Coordination with various centers is essential to ensure the smooth delivery of new functionalities, while establishing best practices and standards across regions through global cooperation. Your critical behaviors should reflect a commitment to innovation, strong consultancy skills, employee development, effective communication, flexibility, and open-mindedness. Your key skills must include substantial experience in the relevant business domain, expertise in SAP applications (especially in S4/Hana Finance), project management proficiency, in-depth knowledge of business processes, and strong strategic acumen. To excel in this role, you are expected to hold a degree in the appropriate field, possess over 10 years of experience in SAP FI/CO processes, demonstrate leadership capabilities, and exhibit a successful track record in program and project management. Your ability to navigate complex challenges, influence continuous improvement, and effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels will be critical to your success in this position.,
