Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with industry standards (IS/ISO) by implementing quality control measures throughout the manufacturing process.
Manage manufacturing engineering projects from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new body structures, including sheet metal parts and assemblies.
Conduct feasibility studies on new product designs, analyzing material usage, weight reduction opportunities, and cost optimization strategies.
Develop tooling designs for stamping press tools, fixtures, gauges, etc., considering factors like durability, maintainability, and ease of use.

Desired Candidate Profile

10-20 years of experience in Automotive BIW domain with expertise in Body In White (BIW), Sheet Metal Parts & Assemblies.
Bachelor's degree in Any Specialization (B.Tech/B.E.).
Strong understanding of Process Engineering principles applied to manufacturing processes; knowledge of Tool Design software an added advantage.
Experience working on Product Development projects involving Simultaneous Engineering methodologies.
