Key Accountabilities

• Strategy for the Application development and system to support the CFBUs business

• Ensure the optimal engineering resources to meet application/system development and customer requirement.
• Ensure the implementation of agile process that supports the development activities.
• Leadership role in the application engineering includes Quality assurance, Application development and Engineering decisions.

• Manager - Application Engg. also plays a leading role within the department where he is tasked with the planning, management, execution and implementation of projects.

• Manager - Application will work closely with global application and R&D team in designing, developing and deploying scalable technologies that will lead to increase customer satisfaction
• Application Engineering Efforts and Planning for meeting new application need of various market segments
• Annual Plan for Application Engineering and as per as requirement of CFBUS/Product Support / QA
• New Product Development /

  System Solution for new business

• Interface with OEM as well as Supplier for developing innovative and competitive application components and system
• To interface with quality, sourcing, materials etc. for various value analysis cost reduction quality improvement projects
• To ensure steering technology group meeting of OEMs for further developments.
• To interface with

  Nodal Agency, Certification agency for Emission test approval for

  all application
• Evaluate and approve

  prototype development

  cost to CFBUs - Sales/After Sales.

Qualification & Skills

• More than 10 years experience in a similar position is required. BE in Mechanical Engineering is desired. MTech is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills and personal Integrity.
• Understanding of business requirement. Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues
• Ability to work with global team, communicating accurately within the team and with customers and suppliers.
• Good decision-making & analytical skills, ability to work independently and with team. Good Communication skills in English (Oral & Written). German language is preferred.
