Manager, Application Development

Role Overview: As a member of the EBS applications group at Pega, you will be part of an innovative team leveraging the latest platform features of Pega Infinity to develop highly scalable enterprise applications. Your role will involve improving operational efficiency, driving innovation, and showcasing applications that support interesting business use cases. As a Manager, you will inspire and lead the team towards a shared vision, ensuring high-quality code development and effective team performance. Key Responsibilities: - Provide hands-on technical leadership for Enterprise Applications and manage a team of developers - Lead the development of world-class enterprise applications to drive operational efficiency and innovation - Analyze, design, develop, and deploy large-scale Pega Platform enterprise application systems - Collaborate with various teams including technical architects, business users, IT teams, and stakeholders during release cycles - Mentor team members on project tasks, conduct technical code reviews, and implement design solutions Qualifications Required: - Bachelor of Engineering or Technology with a good academic record - 8 to 10 years of software development experience in large-scale Pega Platform enterprise application systems - Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing applications using Pega platform - Strong hands-on PRPC technical skills, including Pega Software Design, Application Development, object-oriented concepts, core & enterprise Java, and Python development - Experience in managing teams, preferably in a product development organization - Exposure to DevOps methodologies, microservices, Cloud technologies, and SaaS or PaaS solutions is beneficial - Pega certification (CLSA) would be advantageous Additional Company Details: Pega offers a collaborative environment for designing and developing new ideas and features, continuous learning and development opportunities, and a fast-paced, rewarding sales environment within innovative industries.
