Manager - Accounts

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the accounting department, ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Ensure tax compliance and manage all tax-related matters, including filing and reporting.
• Develop and implement financial planning strategies to optimize the companys financial performance.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and drive financial efficiency.
• Maintain and enhance the management information system (MIS) to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Chartered Accountancy qualification is highly preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax compliance, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
