Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manager - Accounts to join our dynamic team in Chennai. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee the accounting department, ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards. Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting to support strategic planning and decision-making. Ensure tax compliance and manage all tax-related matters, including filing and reporting. Develop and implement financial planning strategies to optimize the companys financial performance. Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and drive financial efficiency. Maintain and enhance the management information system (MIS) to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Qualifications The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Chartered Accountancy qualification is highly preferred. 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance roles. Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax compliance, and accounting principles. Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting techniques. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. This position is a day job and requires on-site work in Chennai.
