Manager( Accounts and Finance)

Accounting and Financial Management:

• Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial records in line with applicable accounting standards .
• Finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Review and analyze cost structures, revenue streams, and profitability by publication/product line.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors for timely closure of audits.
• Manage accounts payable, receivables, and reconciliations, especially involving royalties, copyrights, and license payments.

Taxation:

• Ensure full compliance with all applicable direct and indirect tax laws (Income Tax, GST, TDS).
• Oversee preparation and filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and advance tax payments.
• Handle tax assessments, scrutiny, and liaise with consultants and tax authorities.
• Implement tax-efficient structures for publishing revenues, especially in digital and international sales.

Regulatory & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with Companies Act, FEMA, and other statutory requirements.
• Manage periodic ROC filings, statutory disclosures, and board reports relevant to the finance function.
• Stay updated on changes in financial and tax regulations impacting the publishing industry.

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month

• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)
