Job Description

Manager Accounts

Job Responsibilities

Oversee transactions related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Employee Reimbursements
Monitor daily banking transactions and perform periodic **bank reconciliations**.
Manage intercompany transactions and ensure timely reconciliations.
Handle inventory accounting in compliance with industry standards.
Maintain and update the Fixed Assets Register and related accounting.
Review and post monthly accruals and provisions
Ensure accurate and timely periodic closure of books of accounts
Maintain proper documentation and systematic filing of financial records
Ensure compliance with statutory tax requirements including TDS & GST payments and returns
Prepare and analyze management reports (predefined and ad-hoc) to support decision-making.

Key Skills:

FMCG / Distillery industry accounting experience preferred
Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable & Receivableprocesses
Expertise in Banking, Reconciliations & Intercompany Accounting
Proficiency in Inventory & Fixed Asset Accounting
Sound knowledge of Statutory Compliance (TDS, GST, Returns filing)
Experience in Monthly/Yearly Closing of Books
Hands-on expertise in MIS & Management Reporting
Strong command of ERP/Accounting Systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.)
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
