Manager- Accounting Operations

As a Team Manager in the Finance and Accounting domain, your role involves supervising, monitoring, and evaluating all day-to-day accounting activities. You will establish appropriate practices for collecting client financial information, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information. Your responsibilities will include managing and overseeing the daily operations of the clients" accounting, such as the Month and Year-End Process, General Ledger, Revenue and Expenditure Variance Analysis, Account Reconciliations, Fixed Asset accounting, and other business/client-specific requirements. You will provide guidance to the team to monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements. It will be your responsibility to establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles to ensure adherence. Additionally, you will coordinate and complete annual audits of clients, assign projects, and direct staff to ensure appropriate financial reporting while devising practices to improve efficiency. Recruitment and hiring of new employees, as well as training, appraisals, and career planning for the team, will also fall under your purview to align team performance with Organizational Goals. Qualifications Required: - Relevant experience as a team manager in the Finance and Accounting domain - Capability of handling a team of 10-20 members - Strong multi-tasking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills - Prior experience of working in a BPO is preferred - Education and experience: CA/CPA with 4 plus years of relevant experience In summary, as a Team Manager in the Finance and Accounting domain, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the accounting activities, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and guiding your team towards achieving organizational goals.
