Manager - Accounting and Reporting

As a Senior Audit Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage statutory and group audits, ensuring smooth collaboration with stakeholders, auditors, leadership, and the Carlsberg Group team. Your role will involve developing comprehensive audit plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion. You will also be responsible for ensuring statutory financial statements, disclosures, and annual financials are prepared in compliance with accounting principles such as MCA, IFRS, and Group Manual guidelines. Key Responsibilities: - Manage statutory and group audits, ensuring effective negotiation and timely resolution of audit observations. - Develop comprehensive audit plans, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion. - Prepare statutory financial statements, disclosures, and annual financials in compliance with accounting principles. - Oversee month-end financial close processes to ensure completeness, consistency, and accuracy. - Ensure accurate reconciliation of balance sheet schedules and drive improvements in the clear explanation of pending/open items. - Manage intercompany accounting, resolve gaps with group companies, and ensure timely reporting. - Review, update, and modify the Chart of Accounts (COA) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regularly. - Ensure compliance with technical accounting standards (IndAS, IFRS) and implement changes as required. - Review, test, and enhance internal controls and financial processes to ensure robustness and alignment with organizational goals. - Manage Group Internal Audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings. - Drive timely closure of actions identified through self-assessments and audits. - Manage the accounting, treasury, and operational management of investment holding companies. - Oversee risk management including insurance policies and risk assessment.
