Position: Management Trainee - Agri-Operations

Location: Pune, Maharashtra

Experience: Fresher to 4 Years

Role Summary

Agriculture background

Key Responsibilities

1. Department Handling:

   Assist in the daily supervision and optimization of a key operational department (e.g.,

   Procurement, Quality Control

   ).Liaise with Operations, Purchase, and Sales teams to align certification and TC requirements.Ensure every certified dispatch is linked to a valid certification lot.Support in client queries related to certification, traceability, and TC status.

2. Logistics & SCM:

   Support planning and coordination of agricultural

   logistics

   , including transport and inventory flow, to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods.

3. ICS & Quality Assurance:

   Drive

   ICS management

   from the

   grassroots level

   (farm/field) up to all external

   stakeholders

   .Ensure strict adherence to quality protocols, traceability standards, and internal control policies across all operations.Coordinate between field officers, certification bodies, and HQ for smooth data flow.

4. Certification & Audit Management:

   Coordinate with certification bodies (NOCA, ECOCERT, OneCert, etc.) for audit planning, renewals, and surveillance activities.Ensure timely submission of documents, compliance reports, and data required for certification.Maintain 100% audit readiness for all ICS units.Track certification status for all farmer groups and ensure zero lapse in validity.

5. Documentation & Compliance:

   Ensure meticulous preparation, filing, and maintenance of all critical operational and financial

   documentation

   for audit and regulatory compliance.

6. Reporting & Review:

   Maintain weekly MIS reports on certification progress, ICS activities, and pending TCs.Present monthly performance dashboards to the management.Track targets and highlight risks or deviations early.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Agriculture, Agri-Business, or a related field.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on data and

  documentation

• Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a foundational understanding of the Agri-Supply Chain.
