Management Trainee-Buying

As a Management Trainee in Buying Ladies Indian wear, you will be required to have a strong educational background in NIFT (GMT/FD/Textile D&D) or Pearl academy (IFTP). Your industry preference should lie in Textile, Garment, Retail, or Export House focusing on Merchandisers. Your role will involve utilizing technical skills such as product knowledge, effective presentation skills, effective negotiation skills, and a sound understanding of costings. You will be responsible for buying, sourcing, costing, and vendor management within the specified industry. With 1-3 years of experience, you will need to ensure timely delivery of samples by vendors, set standards for the quality of merchandise with QA, and keep track of competitors" activities. Vendor identification and development, obtaining range merchandise after effective negotiation, product presentation and packaging, and product development will be key responsibilities. You will also be tasked with regularly updating the front-end on key product benefits, assisting the Buyer with budget and margin targets, fashion range planning, and building. Maximizing current sourcing channels, identifying new opportunities, supporting negotiations, and working with the supply base to ensure the best costs and margins are achieved are essential components of the role. Furthermore, you will work closely with Merchandising on the management of stock, style options, quantities, promotions, and markdowns to ensure the success of the overall buying process.,
