Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and innovative AppSheet App Developer to design, develop, and maintain custom applications using Google AppSheet. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of no-code/low-code application development, database management, and process automation. You will work closely with project teams and end-users to create efficient, user-friendly solutions tailored to business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and deploy applications using Google AppSheet to meet specific business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand functional needs and translate them into technical app features.
• Structure and manage data sources (Google Sheets, Excel, SQL databases) efficiently for integration with AppSheet apps.
• Configure workflows, bots, and automation processes to streamline business operations.
• Create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces with good user experience principles.
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure robust and error-free apps.
• Prepare clear technical documentation, user manuals, and training materials for developed apps.
• Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and upgrades for existing AppSheet applications.
• Implement appropriate data security measures and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficient in Google AppSheet platform development.
• Strong understanding of relational databases like Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, SQL databases.
• Knowledge of AppSheet expressions and AppScript (optional, bonus).
• Experience in workflow automation and integration with APIs (Google Drive, Calendar, Gmail, REST APIs, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of data validation, normalization, and data security best practices.
• Good sense of UI/UX design principles for mobile and web apps.
• Ability to analyze business processes and design automation solutions.
• Problem-solving attitude with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical users.
