Makeup Artist

Key Responsibilities: Apply makeup and hairstyling techniques to models, actors, or clients based on shoot concepts, facial features, and skin types. Collaborate with photographers, directors, and creative teams to understand the desired look and styling needs for each shoot. Select and coordinate outfits, accessories, and overall styling for models/clients, ensuring it aligns with the shoot's theme and brief. Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized makeup station and styling area. Stay updated on the latest beauty, fashion, and makeup trends to bring fresh ideas to the studio. Handle makeup and styling for a variety of shoots including fashion, editorial, corporate, product, and bridal sessions. Perform touch-ups and adjustments during shoots as required. Manage and maintain makeup kits, styling tools, and wardrobe inventory. Ensure all services are delivered within scheduled timelines. Provide basic skin preparation and hair grooming when necessary. Recommend products, looks, or treatments to enhance client experience and shoot output. Requirements: Proven experience as a makeup artist and stylist, preferably in a studio or media setting. Diploma/Certification in Makeup Artistry, Cosmetology, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory if skilled). Strong knowledge of different makeup techniques (HD, airbrush, etc.) and skin tones. Understanding of fashion styling, wardrobe coordination, and on-camera appearance. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shoots in a day. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility in working hours based on shoot schedules. Creative mindset with attention to detail. Portfolio of previous work (required at the time of interview). Preferred Skills (Bonus): Experience with bridal, editorial, or cinematic looks. Basic knowledge of photo/video lighting and its impact on makeup/styling. Familiarity with fashion styling tools and wardrobe care. Work Schedule: 6 days a week (flexibility required depending on shoot schedule) Studio-based role with occasional on-location shoots Compensation:Based on experience and skill level.
