Maintenance Technician

A Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting machinery and equipment used in carbon manufacturing processes to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on production equipment such as furnaces, mixers, conveyors, crushers, and presses
• Inspect mechanical systems to identify wear, damage, or potential failures
• Repair or replace faulty mechanical parts including bearings, belts, gears, pumps, and valves
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and minimize production downtime
• Assist with installation, alignment, and commissioning of new machines
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintenance checklists
• Ensure compliance with safety rules, especially when working with high temperatures, dust, and heavy machinery
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report major issues to supervisors
• Work closely with electrical, production, and safety teams
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and manuals
• Experience with industrial maintenance tools and equipment
• Basic welding and fabrication skills (preferred)
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Awareness of industrial safety standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
