Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Engineer with hands-on experience in biodegradable machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in mechanical systems, materials engineering, and sustainable manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for designing, maintaining, optimizing, and innovating machinery used in the production of biodegradable products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain biodegradable product manufacturing machines (e.g., for PLA, PHA, starch-based materials, etc.)
• Lead the design and development of new machinery components to improve efficiency and product quality
• Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate biodegradable materials with mechanical systems
• Conduct trials and tests to evaluate machinery performance and optimize settings
• Ensure all equipment and processes comply with environmental and safety regulations
• Analyze machine data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
• Train technical staff and operators on machine setup and operation
• Document technical specifications, maintenance procedures, and quality control standards

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience working with biodegradable machinery or sustainable manufacturing equipment
• Strong knowledge of biodegradable materials and their processing techniques
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and PLC systems
• Familiarity with injection molding, extrusion, thermoforming, or compostable packaging machinery is a plus
• Ability to read technical drawings and machine schematics
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹34,586.88 per month
