You'll be working with the Maintenance & Engineering team.This team ensures uninterrupted operation of highly automated EV battery and component manufacturing lines. The focus is on maintaining electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems while ensuring maximum uptime, safety and equipment reliability.Our goal is to keep the factory running smoothly, safely and efficiently every minute of uptime counts.Our philosophy:

What You Will Do
In this role, you will take ownership of maintaining, troubleshooting and improving automated machinery across the plant. You will work closely with Manufacturing, Production, Automation and Engineering teams to ensure stable machine performance and resolve issues quickly.
Responsibilities
PLC & Controls (Primary Focus)
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in Mitsubishi PLCs (GX Works / GX Developer)
- Modify logic, rectify interlocks, and support HMI updates
- Analyse alarms, I/O faults, communication issues and machine stoppages
- Work with sensors, actuators, proximity switches, encoders and safety circuits
Electrical Maintenance
- Troubleshoot VFDs, servo drives, power supplies, contactors and relays
- Perform electrical panel wiring, modifications and upgrades
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and panels
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety, grounding and high-voltage handling SOPs
Mechanical & Electro-Mechanical Maintenance
- Diagnose issues with mechanical assemblies, gearboxes, bearings and motion systems
- Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic cylinders, valves, manifolds, FRLs
- Troubleshoot hydraulic systems, including pressure controls and dispensing units
- Support maintenance of automation fixtures, conveyors, SPMs and robotics equipment
Maintenance Operations & Documentation
- Perform preventive maintenance as per schedule
- Maintain breakdown logs, PM records and escalation notes
- Coordinate with vendors for spares, service visits and upgrades
- Support machine installation, commissioning and line readiness activities
- Identify recurring issues and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA)
The ideal candidate requires
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience in maintenance of automated industrial machinery
- Strong experience with Mitsubishi PLCs (mandatory)
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical components: VFDs, relays, contactors, sensors, safety circuits
- Good electrical wiring skill and understanding of industrial electrical panels
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics and dispensing machines
- Ability to read electrical & mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams and P&IDs
- Strong troubleshooting & analytical skills
- Basic understanding of MES/SCADA alarms and machine data (good to have)
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics (or similar)
